Bedrock (or Adminium) blocks make up the bottom 5 layers of the map. Bedrock is indestructible except in creative mode (where it is destroyed with one click, like any other block).

Underneath the Bedrock layers is the void. Entering the void will kill the player, even in creative mode.

Contrary to popular belief, bedrock cannot be destroyed with TNT, since no explosion in the game can produce the damage (18.000.000) needed to destroy a bedrock block.
