Redstone Torch (Off)

Redstone Torch Block (Off) is the placed form of a redstone torch in the OFF state. A redstone torch will be in the ON state when placed and is turned off if it receives a redstone current.

When ON a redstone torch emits light (level 7).

Redstone torches will burn out when switched between the on and off states too often (8 or more off-on-cycles 5 seconds). When OFF or burned out, a redstone torch does not emit light or provide power to redstone wires.

A burn out reverts itself once enough time (7 or less off-on-cycles within the last 100 world ticks) has passed.
