A Stone Button can be pushed to provide power to a redstone wire or object (door, rails,…). After 0.9 seconds it will automatically retract and revert to the OFF state. Buttons are found naturally in Strongholds next to iron doors.

Buttons are easily mined by hand. When submerged in water, buttons are destroyed.

Unlike levers and torches, buttons can only be placed on the side of a block.
